Colter Bay: rest in Yellowstone!

Today we rode 39 miles from Grant Village to Colter Bay, Wyoming. We climbed 1,722 feet.

Fabulous day. We had a late start after a nice breakfast, we rolled out of the parking lot under mostly sunny skies at 1100. More spectacular scenery and perfect temperatures. We rode an uneventful 20 miles to our first SAG and had lunch just inside the entrance to Yellowstone. After another first class spread put out by our unrivaled SAG crew, we set out for the final 19 miles. We had one minor climb to contend with, and everyone got over it successfully. Long downhill into beautiful Colter Bay where one of our teammates' family had a cookout for the entire group. I can't think of a better way to cap off this day. Thanks Terry and Chip.

Tomorrow we ride from Colter Bay to Dubois, Wyoming. We will cycle 66 miles and climb 3,716 feet.
